Linda L Lawless is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy using a contemplative and positive psychology approach. She maintains a private practice in Benicia, CA. 

With over 33 years experience as a counselor and therapist, and as a graduate of J. F. Kennedy University, specializing in a mental health systems approach, s/he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are working with issues specific to women, contemplative and mindfulness approaches, and using positive psychology to find out what is “right” with people as well as addressing today’s problems.

In addition to being a  therapist, Linda has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Women & Power, The Mindful Lifestyle, Mental Fitness, and Personal Leadership.

Linda is an interactive, solution-focused, contemplative based therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, s/he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
